Blood has been found on weapons that have been cleaned, and hands that have been washed have been found with traces of blood under the fingernails. Any evidence which is suspected of bearing even the tiniest traces of blood should not be overlooked. No evidence can be determined to be totally free of blood traces without a thorough laboratory examination.
